Bell haulers driven by X-box controller

26 March 2020

In this video, South African Hauler manufacturer Bell Equipment tests the use of an X-box controller as the company begins development of automation systems for its haulers.

Shown at work in this clip is the Bell 45 hauler at the company’s testing facility in South Africa.

The controller also features a dead man switch for extra safety as the operator demonstrates the capabilities of the software.

If you missed the company’s news at the ConExpo show in Las Vegas, US, where the firm launched its first ever tracked hauler in March 2020, be sure to click here and take a look.
