Digital contracting has increased steadily over the last 15 years as systems become more intelligent and easier for users to operate. This allows contractors to move their work process over to a digitally based system.

By moving to this cloud-based approach where data can be utilised, contractors can improve how they work, easily manage assets, plan work and training and save money in the process.

However, before moving to a new approach, it is important to fully understand how that approach works.

Speaking at the Construction Technology Summit 2022, Britton Lawson, director of construction technology at Veit & Company, revealed what being a digital contractor means.
