Screening reminder from Kleemann

Kleemann's MS 13 Z screen plant is designed for coarse material and equipped with two screening deck

Kleemann's MS 13 Z screen plant is designed for coarse material and equipped with two screening decks.

While it is best known for its mobile crusher plants, Kleemann has been using the Intermat show in Paris to point out that for years it has also been offering a large selection of mobile screening plants.

Markus Wörner, head of sales at the German company, which is part of the Wirtgen Group, said, "Screen plants are not as interesting as crushing plants from a technological point of view. This is why they are usually left in the background.

"Nevertheless, they play a very important role in the preparation of mineral raw materials and that's why we offer such a large selection."

Kleemann has 12 different models of the Mobiscreen series in its product portfolio, with screening areas from 3.4 m2 up to 18.4 m2. It claims there is a matching mobile screen for every mobile crusher plant in the Kleemann product range.

As with its mobile crusher plants, Kleemann makes a distinction between its plants for the Contractor Line and the Quarry Line.

It said the Contractor Line screening plants were flexible, with regard to the material to be screened and to the operating location. It said that despite their high outputs, they could be easily transported and so also used efficiently for smaller quantities.

The smallest plant is the Mobiscreen MS 12 Z. This double-deck compact screening plant, designed for coarse material, is used both as a grizzly and a classifying screen, and has a screening area of 1,220 mm x 2,750 mm (upper deck), with feed capacities of up to 200 tonnes per hour.

The MS 13 Z and MS 15 Z models are also screening plants designed for coarse material and are equipped with two screening decks. With their larger screening areas, they cover higher output requirements of up to 400 tonnes per hour.

The MS 14, MS 16 and MS 19 models are traditional classifying screens, which are available in double-deck versions, with a triple-deck version available or the MS 16 and MS 19. With screening areas from 4.2 m2 (MS 14 Z) up to 9.3 m2 (MS 19 Z or MS 19 D), material removal capacities of up to 500 tonnes per hour are possible, according to Kleemann.
