Australia-based Greg Denholm Fencing used an Arrow 750XL curb slipformer to cast up the concrete base for a new crash barrier on a main road near Bachus Marsh, Victoria. At the height of the work, the contractor managed to cast up to 1 km of the base per day.

The 500 mm wide, 100 mm deep base will provide an anchor point for a new wire crash barrier. The slipformer speeds up the work by pre-drilling the holes for the fence supports and filling them with vibrated concrete, which allows the contractor to install the posts in the same operation.
