Crusher designed to cut operating costs.
Astec's Telsmith has introduced a new jaw crusher for tracked and wheeled mobile units in the shape of the Hydra-Jaw Model H2550 that it says delivers lower operating costs for contractors. According to the company, it is the result of advanced jaw crusher technology that provides increased uptimes and production capacity while streamlining operation and maintenance.
Key to the system is the H2550's unique hydraulic toggle system that features a heavy-duty hydraulic cylinder that is custom engineered for crushing applications. Its innovative hydraulic adjustment, relief and clearing systems eliminate downtime and prevent component damage. At the same time, it protects workers from the risks typically associated with the operation and maintenance of older jaw crushers.
The H2550 has been engineered as a low profile unit with foot mounts located at mid level and a sculpted frame that reduces overall weight but still provides optimum strength and durability. It features a 625 x 1250 mm feed opening, interchangeable and reversible jaw dies, replaceable toggle ends and an impact plate to protect the pitman. In addition, the grease lines are plumbed to a central distribution point for rapid access during maintenance.
