New Holland's Tier 4 Final excavators

Tier 4 Final machines will be launched on the New Holland stand at Bauma – the company’s 7.5 tonne E75C SR and 8.3 tonne E85C MSR excavators, which use exhaust gas recirculation and a diesel oxidation catalyst to meet the emissions laws.

New Holland claims the new machines produce fuel savings of up to 31.4% compared to previous models, thanks to the new engine and new electro-hydraulic controls with Eco mode.

Meanwhile, three new short radius excavators will also be introduced at the show, featuring Tier 4 Interim engines that comply with current emissions laws – the E230C SR, E260C SR and E160C Blade Runner, which have operating weights of 2.3 tonnes, 2.6 tonnes and 1.6 tonnes.

In addition, a new skid steer loader – the L230 – and a new compact tracked loader – the C238 – will also be making their debut at the show. With rated operating capacities of 1.4 tonnes and 1.7 tonnes respectively, these machines are said to boast fast cycles with more hydraulic power than the models they replace.

A new wheeled loader for recycling applications will also be launched – the W170C. This 15 tonne class machine features an advanced cooling system where radiators are paced forming a box rather than overlapping to make them easier to clean and increase their efficiency.

Upgraded versions of New Holland’s F Series graders will also be on display, featuring a new low profile cab and the company’s FleetForce telematics system. To avoid clogging the radiators during dusty recycling work, the machine is also built with more space between the fans so that dust and debris are easily blown away by the reversible fan.
