Kubota Engines has launched a new series of engines at Bauma – the Diesel Power Packs – with a power range up to 55kW.

The Packs feature common rail technology and exhaust gas treatment, which the company claims will ensure that original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) have a solution to meet the upcoming EU Stage emissions regulations – set to come in to force in 2019.

Daniel Grant, business development manager, said that the company was committed to investing in technology to ensure its machinery equipment is powered by the most efficient and cost-effective diesel engines.

He continued, “With 2019 looming, OEMs have been calling out for a solution that enables them to manufacture machinery that complies with Stage V emissions legislations.

“We are therefore delighted to be launching our new Diesel Power Packs at Bauma.”

The Packs allow up to 100% power take off, which the company said was an indispensable feature for engineers working in tight spaces.

Meanwhile, the company is showcasing its range of engines operated by alternative fuels.

The range includes gasoline, natural gas, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and CNG (compressed natural gas) engines, all of which can be installed instead of diesel engines.
