JV awarded Oakland Bay bridge contract

A 50:50 joint venture between Fluor and American Bridge Company has been named most competitive bidder for the construction of the US$ 1.43 billion east span of the new Oakland Bay Bridge in San Francisco, US.

The consortium is expected to be confirmed as contractor for the project by the end of this month (April).
