Impact crusher

25 April 2008

DSB's new impact crusher, the innocrush 50, features a rotor length of 1300 mm and unique crusher geometry to guarantee a maximum throughput of 400 tonnes/hour.

Power for the 50 tonne machine comes from a Caterpillar C 10 diesel engine (291 kW), making it ideal for recycling construction and demolition waste or crushing quarried aggregates, according to the company.

Features include a 1260 x 1060 mm inlet, two-tier screening system, main and discharge conveyors, remote control operation and easy access service hatches.

The heavy-duty two-deck screen separates material that is already the size of the end product, transports it past the crusher or to a stockpile via the 10 m long side discharge conveyor, while hydraulic monitoring of the main discharge belt guarantees disruption-free work.

The main conveyor measures 22.29 m, is 1.2 m wide and has a discharge height of 3.5 m. The head of the conveyor can be hydraulically folded away during transportation, reducing the machine's length from 15.34 to 13.42 m.
