Enhanced new website and online store from Off-Highway Research

By KHL Group05 April 2016

Specialist economic forecasting and market research consultant, Off-Highway Research, has launched a new version of its website, www.offhighway.co.uk. The new-look site features enhanced Internet access for Off-Highway Research’s clients as well as links to the company’s new online-store, www.offhighway-store.com.

Off-Highway Research Managing Director, David Phillips said, “A great deal of work has gone into updating www.offhighway.co.uk. We have retained the simple and intuitive navigation of the former site while updating the look, feel and functionality in many areas. We have set up a new online store, which along with our new cloud-based databases and existing Internet Access Service, means our clients can access Off-Highway Research’s entire range of research, reports, databases and studies instantly and at the click of a mouse.”

As well as the Internet Access Service, a long-standing offering from Off-Highway Research which allows clients to access digital versions of their reports and subscriptions online, the company’s statistical databases can now be accessed directly through the new site. This cloud-based service replaces the former system, where subscribers to the Chinese, Indian or International Database Services would download an .exe file to access the information. This caused issues for some clients due to company policies on downloading software from the Internet.

Mr Phillips said, “Making the databases accessible online, without the need for any downloads overcomes this problem, and is a major step forward for clients.”

He continued, “The online databases are quicker and easier to access than our previous system, and are also easier to interrogate. They still provide the familiar functionality of our system, including the facility to download data to Excel, should clients wish.”

A News section has also been added to the website. The content includes summaries of new studies and forecasts from Off-Highway Research as they are published, news from the equipment industry and details of exhibitions and conferences the company is participating in.

Other features of www.offhighway.co.uk retained from the previous site include a full index of the company’s research reports across its European, Chinese, Indian subscription services, downloads of sample reports and brochures, details of Off-Highway Research’s Multi-Client Studies and Private Client Research offering, as well as background on the company and a comprehensive list of contacts around the world.
