CPA Stars of the Future open for entries

Entries have opened for the Construction Plant-hire Association’s (CPA) Stars of the Future Awards 2024.
The awards, which take place at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre in Fillongley, near Coventry, on July 11, recognises construction plant apprentices and trainees.
There are eight categories that are open to entry, including Plant Mechanic of the Year (Level 2), Plant Technician of the Year (Level 3), Plant Operative of the Year and Young Plant Operative of the Year.
Nominees are also eligible for special awards including the Judges’ Special Award and the Best Personal Statement Award.
The deadline for entries is March 22, with winners to be in contention for a number of prizes as well as national recognition, the CPA said.
Employers interested in nominating apprentices and trainess can find the nomination forms on the CPA website.
Nominations from all employers including plant-hire companies, manufacturers, contractors, suppliers and others operating in the construction sector with apprentices and trainees are eligible.
