Case Construction Equipment plans to introduce a new range of crawler dozers.

Case will use ConExpo-Con/Agg as a first opportunity to show its new M-series dozers, which were launched at the end of last year, and which are now going into full production.

The five-model range comprises the 22 tonne class 2050M, 18 tonne class 1650M, 15 tonne class 1150M, 10 tonne class 850M and 9 tonne class 750M, with engine powers from 92 hp to 214 hp (69 kW to 160 kW).

Case said it designed the new machines from the ground up and new features include claimed best-in-class drawbar pull, increased power, improved visibility and a pressurised cab with ergonomic controls.

The machines feature Tier 4 Final engines, and Case says they are the first dozers in the industry to have selective catalytic reduction (SCR) in place to limit exhaust emissions. The company also said there were fuel savings of up to 14% to be had, compared to the previous models.

The manufacturer added that other major new ConExpo product introductions were planned for its heavy equipment line, including updates to excavators, wheeled loaders and compactors.
