Aecom will provide a range of programme and project management, cost management and multidisciplinary design, engineering and environmental services across the capital infrastructure programme portfolio.

Work will enable the delivery of the infrastructure programme in support of the US Air Force in Europe’s (USAFE) military operations.

Darren Carlile, head of national security at Aecom UK&I, said, “We have more than 60 years experience supporting military aviation infrastructure worldwide and more than 28 years of direct experience delivering mission-critical project solutions to the USAFE and UK MOD.

“This new appointment enhances our strong standing in the defence sector. We very much look forward to working in collaboration with the DIO and USVF delivering the next generation of military capabilities, leveraging our global breadth and depth of the programme, cost management and multi-disciplinary engineering expertise.”
