The Terex stand will feature the Powerscreen SR 1000, a cone crusher with integrated screen and recirculating system

Among the machines on the Terex stand will be a 1000SR cone crusher and Metrotrak jaw crusher from the company's Powerscreen subsidiary. The company describes these units as being among its most popular machines, and both are manufactured in India.

Powerscreen global product line director Damian Power said, "The fact that the machines to be showcased at bC India have been manufactured in India further reinforces the Powerscreen commitment in the development of local economy and infrastructure."

The 1000SR mobile plant combines the features of the 1000 Maxtrak crusher with a double deck sizing screen and a re-circulating system, all on one single tracked chassis. Powerscreen says the unit is suited to secondary and tertiary crushing & screening applications in quarrying, where high quality, low flake, single size aggregate and sub-base materials are required.

The plant can produce three different sized products when the optional additional stockpiling conveyor is included, and other benefits include quick set-up time and excellent product shape characteristics.

The Metrotrak meanwhile is a compact, high performance tracked mobile jaw crushing plant featuring the "M" series single toggle jaw crusher. Powerscreen says the aggressive crushing action and 175 tonne per hour output make the unit well-suited to small to medium sized operators in the mining, quarrying and recycling industries.

Features include a vibrating grizzly feeder that has a heavy-duty mechanical vibrating unit with twin cast eccentric shafts. Finger bars and underscreen allow grizzly fines to be directed on to the main product or optional side conveyor by fitting a blanking mat or wire meshes with a choice of apertures. Dust suppression sprays are fitted as standard and among the optional extras available are a side/dirt conveyor, radio remote control and a magnetic overband separator.
Both machines will be on display at the Terex booth - no. 324 in the outside area. Staff from the Powerscreen sales and customer support teams will be on hand, along with representatives of its Indian distributors; Advanced Construction Technologies, Alpha Technical Services, Vijay Traders, and Voltas.
