One of concrete pump firm Putzmeister latest innovations which will be on show at BAUMA will be the completely overhauled stationary concrete pump BSA 1407 D.

It claims an improved hopper (RS909), operating data clearly displayed on the Ergonic Graphic Display (EGD), and a sophisticated electronic fault management system.

The new access cover, made of fibre-glass reinforced plastic, is said to be extremely robust, weather-resistant, easy to remove and easy to clean.

Putzmeister said that thanks to BSA 1407 D’s improved shape, hardly any concrete residue can settle, which speeds up cleaning.

Its new Telebelt TB 200 – a technologically-advanced telescopic belt conveyor that is said to outmanoeuvre, outdrive and outperform other competitive placing systems – was launched last year.

With a four-section boom that retracts to 22.80m, the TB 200 claims an increased working range of 8% over the competition. This means the Telebelt doesn’t need to be moved as often, saving job site hours.

When there is a need to move it, its shortened conveyor length when retracted allows for easier movement around the job site, said Putzmeister, which added that since the chassis was road-legal, it could be driven to locations at up to 80km/h, instead of being transported on a flatbed.

At Bauma, Putzmeister will showcase its largest double piston pump – the KOS 25200.

It said the hydraulic pump for dense material comprised three elements – the KOS pump unit, the hydraulic drive unit and the electric cabinet with the operating panel. It works without valves and is equipped with an S-transfer tube, which connects the respective delivery cylinder to the delivery line.

Putzmeister said the unit’s special design enabled a nearly constantly free passage for the material to be conveyed, ensuring linear conveying.
