JCB has unveiled a range of new machines at Intermat with new engines, hydraulics and control systems that it says in some cases can deliver thousands of Euros in fuel savings over the course of a year.
After the bumper crop of 2011, this year looks set to see more compact machines launched, partly in response to new engine emission regulations in Europe and North America. As well as being greener, versatility is also a feature of the latest offerings.
Scores of new compact machines have been launched so far in 2011 as manufacturers strive to meet demand for more size options and faster and more productive equipment. Helen Wright reports on this rapidly growing market.
